1. Why this policy exists
Our products can generate speech in a real person's voice, videos with realistic presenters, images, text and analyses. Used well, they help people create, teach and communicate. Used badly, they can deceive and hurt people. This policy sets out what is allowed and what is not, and it forms part of our Terms of Service.
It applies to everyone who uses ennovaq.com, EchoClone, ReVidGen, SpikeGuru or Guftagu, including through an API, and it covers both what you upload and what you create.
2. Consent for voices and likenesses
These rules apply whenever you clone or synthesise a real person's voice, or create an avatar, image or video that shows a real person's face or likeness.
Whose voice or likeness you may use
You may use only:
- your own voice or likeness; or
- the voice or likeness of another adult who has given you explicit, written consent for the specific use, before you upload anything; or
- for a person who has died, a voice or likeness for which you hold written authorisation from whoever controls their rights.
Being famous does not remove the need for consent. Public figures, politicians, celebrities and creators are protected by the same rules as everyone else.
What valid consent looks like
Consent must be:
- specific: it names the person, the voice or likeness, and the uses, places of publication and period it covers;
- informed: the person understands that an AI system will learn to reproduce their voice or appearance;
- freely given: not a condition buried in unrelated terms; and
- revocable: if the person withdraws consent, you must delete the voice model or avatar and stop creating new content with it.
Records and verification
Keep a copy of every consent and give it to us within five business days if we ask. Before enabling a voice clone or custom avatar, we may ask for verification, such as a recording of the person reading a short consent statement in the cloned voice. We may disable a voice or avatar while we check.
Children
Never clone the voice, or create an avatar, image or video of the likeness, of anyone under 18, under any circumstances.
Recordings you do not have the right to use
Do not use recordings or images obtained secretly, without the speaker's knowledge, or taken from other people's videos, podcasts, calls or social media without their consent.
3. Prohibited uses
You may not use the Services to create, distribute or help with any of the following.
Impersonation and fraud
- Impersonating a real person, company or organisation, or presenting AI output as the real words or actions of a real person without their consent.
- Scam calls, voice phishing ("vishing"), fake emergencies, and any attempt to defeat voice-based identity checks, such as bank voice authentication.
- Fake endorsements, testimonials or reviews.
- Automated or robocalls using an AI voice without the recipient's prior consent where the law requires it, including under the US Telephone Consumer Protection Act.
Elections and public trust
- Content showing real candidates, officials, election workers or public institutions saying or doing things they did not say or do.
- Content that misleads people about when, where or how to vote, or that discourages them from voting.
- Political robocalls, and political advertising that hides its use of AI where disclosure is required.
Sexual content and exploitation
- Sexually explicit or intimate content depicting a real person without their consent.
- Any content that sexualises minors. We report it to the relevant law-enforcement authorities and preserve the evidence.
Harassment, hate and violence
- Harassment, threats, intimidation, stalking or bullying, including by imitating someone's voice.
- Content that attacks people on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, caste, nationality, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability or similar characteristics.
- Content that promotes terrorism, violent extremism or self-harm.
Deception and dangerous misinformation
- Realistic deepfakes designed to deceive people about real events.
- Fabricated news, or false medical, financial or safety claims likely to cause harm.
Unlawful activity and other people's rights
- Infringing copyright, trademarks or anyone's rights in their name, voice or likeness.
- Anything unlawful where you or the affected person are, including content that breaches Pakistan's Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016.
- Collecting or exposing other people's personal data without a lawful basis.
Misusing the platform
- Reverse-engineering, extracting or copying our models or software, or scraping the Services.
- Circumventing rate limits, credit limits, consent checks, safety filters or account bans, including by opening extra accounts.
- Removing or altering watermarks, labels or provenance data that we attach to Outputs.
- Sharing API keys, or reselling or sublicensing access without our written permission.
- Using Outputs to build a competing AI model or service.
- Sending spam, or distributing malware.
High-stakes decisions without human review
- Using Outputs as the only basis for decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on people, such as hiring, credit, housing, insurance, education, medical or legal decisions.
4. Allowed, with care
Some uses are allowed if you are careful:
- Satire and parody, when it is obvious to a reasonable viewer or listener that the content is not real, and it is clearly labelled.
- Fictional characters and voices, when they do not imitate a real, identifiable person.
- Accessibility, such as preserving your own voice before an illness affects it. We welcome these uses.
- Health, legal and financial topics, when content carries an appropriate disclaimer and is not presented as professional advice.
5. Labelling AI-generated content
You are responsible for disclosing that content is AI-generated or manipulated wherever the law or a platform requires it. That includes:
- the European Union's AI Act, which since 2 August 2026 requires anyone who uses AI in a professional capacity to create a deepfake (image, audio or video content that would falsely appear authentic) to disclose that it was artificially generated or manipulated, in a way that does not spoil evidently artistic, satirical or fictional work; and
- platform rules such as YouTube's requirement to disclose realistic altered or synthetic content.
Even where it is not required, we encourage you to label realistic synthetic voices and faces.
6. Reporting misuse and takedowns
Anyone can report misuse, whether or not they use our products. If your voice or likeness has been used without your consent, tell us straight away.
How to report. Email info@ennovaq.com with "Takedown request" in the subject, or message us on WhatsApp at +92 304 703 6143. Include:
- your name and how to contact you;
- the content you are reporting, such as a link, a file or a description of where you saw it, and the product involved if you know it;
- your relationship to the content, for example "this is my voice", or that you represent the person affected; and
- a statement that, to the best of your knowledge, the use was not authorised and the information in your report is accurate.
What we do. We acknowledge reports within one business day and investigate reports of non-consensual cloning, impersonation and sexual deepfakes within 48 hours. Where a report is credible, we disable the voice model or content, preserve the evidence, and act against the account. We tell the account holder unless doing so would be unlawful or put someone at risk.
Appeals. If we act on your content and you believe we made a mistake, write to info@ennovaq.com within 14 days with your evidence, such as a signed consent. A different person will review the decision.
Copyright. Send copyright complaints to info@ennovaq.com, identifying the work, the material you say infringes it, your contact details, and a statement that you act in good faith and are authorised to complain.
Law enforcement. Send requests to info@ennovaq.com. We respond to valid legal process, and act quickly when there is an imminent risk of serious harm.
7. Enforcement
If you break this policy, we may, depending on how serious the breach is:
- remove content or disable features, voice models or avatars;
- suspend or permanently close your account, without a refund for serious breaches;
- report the matter to the relevant authorities and cooperate with their investigation; and
- keep the records we need, including logs of voice-cloning activity, to investigate and to defend legal claims.
8. Changes
We may update this policy as laws, platforms and risks change. We will post the new version here with a new date, and tell account holders about material changes.
9. Contact
